Most of us spend our lives chasing the big moments. The milestones. The promotions, the wins, the moments we think will define us.
I get it. We’re wired to notice the peaks. It reminds me of keyframes in animation — the bold, distinct moments that anchor a scene. But if you know anything about animation: the magic isn’t in the keyframes. It’s in the frames in between. The hundreds of subtle, often invisible movements that connect one big moment to the next. Without them, the story falls apart.
Life’s the same way. The “bit in-between” is where the work happens. It’s where you learn, practice, adjust, and prepare. It’s the days no one’s watching, the choices you made, the conversations you had, the skills you build slowly, one repetition at a time. And here’s the truth: when the big moments arrive, you rarely have much choice in how they unfold. You’ll respond based on the work you’ve done (or haven’t done) in the in-between space.
It’s like in a game. Every chapter ends with a big challenge. But you can only win if you’ve made the right choices along the way — gathering tools, learning the mechanics, leveling up. You can’t skip the work and expect to progress.
Here’s the twist though: the best “tools” in life don’t just come from grinding away at the same thing. They come from variety - from the range of experiences and people you expose yourself to. The in-between is your training ground — and the more diverse your experiences, the wiser, more skilled, and more adaptable you become in every area of life.
What I’m saying is, when you actively seek out new experiences and people, you stack advantages: fresh ideas that spark solutions you’d never have found alone, perspectives that shift how you see the world, skills that make you more capable in any situation, and connections that open doors you didn’t know existed. Skip that, and you limit your growth before you’ve even begun.
My mission is to help people see the in-between for what it truly is — the most valuable time you have. To turn everyday moments into catalysts for growth, so that when the big moments do come, you can feel confident knowing you’ve done everything you can to prepare for whatever life throws at you.
You don’t get to choose the big moments, but you do get to choose the little ones — and from my experience, the more you make them count… well, you’ll see…
