Dear Friends,
It’s been a while since I last wrote here. A year and a half, in fact.
That’s because I’ve been building something.
Not just a company.
Not just an app.
A mindset. A movement. A mission to help people grow in ways they’ve never thought possible.
It’s called Qu.
Qu is a platform that helps people learn and grow from every moment—on the app and in real life. After nearly two decades working in global film and TV production, I stepped away to answer a question I’d been asking since I was a kid:
What would it take to make the world better, for everyone?
I’ve come to believe the answer begins with a mindset. With growth. With helping people develop the ability to see every conversation, challenge, and experience as an opportunity—not just to survive, but to grow.
That’s what Qu offers. The ability to learn and grow from every moment.
And now we’re getting ready to share it with the world.
Our First Mission: Flip the Switch on Buffalo
On June 9, we’re launching Qu—starting with a bold, citywide mission right here in Buffalo.
This isn’t just a product launch.
It’s a mindset shift.
A real-time attempt to help an entire city realize its potential.
The campaign includes everything from a treasure-hunt-style city quest to an immersive art exhibition, in-person events, digital storytelling, and the debut of our first app, Qu Anytime—but the real purpose is this:
To invite Buffalo to grow. Together.
If we can flip the switch here—if we can inspire a whole city to choose growth, as individuals and as a collective—and at the same time—we can create a wave of momentum that reaches far beyond this launch, this place, or this moment.
That’s the ambition.
That’s the mission.
And that’s why I’m writing to you now.
Buffalo is just the beginning.
In the months and years ahead, we plan to expand Qu across cities, countries, and communities—with the hope of helping billions of people realize their potential.
But it starts here.
If any of this resonates—share it. Sign up. Spread the word.
You’ll be hearing more from me over the coming weeks. But for now, I just want to say thank you for being here. And if you’re still with me after all this time, I hope you’ll be part of what comes next.
Warmly,
David
